Wizz Air growing under Tatra mountains

Wizz Air adds flights from London to Poprad. Starting with the winter schedule, Tuesday will be added to the current Thursday and Sunday flights and the route will be flown three times a week. The top frequency was four flights a day in the past.

Wizz Air has been cutting frequencies after 45 Airbus A320neo family aircraft needed to be grounded to fix the Pratt & Whitney engines faults. These planes start returning to the active fleet now, the first of the of the planes parked in Ostrava successfully returned to commercial flights last week.

Another possibility to fly from the Slovakian airport to London is offered by Ryanair. This company continues with two weekly flights to Stansted.
