New Routes from Prague: Ryanair to Bristol, Smartwings to Athens

Boeing aircraft operated by Ryanair will now be landing at Bristol Airport alongside easyJet's Airbus fleet, departing from Prague. The Irish low-cost carrier will commence operations on this route on July 4, 2024, flying twice a week (every Thursday and Sunday). The flight schedule for route FR749/750 is as follows: BRS 14:10 - PRG 17:20/17:45 - 18:55 BRS for Thursday flights, and BRS 18:10 - PRG 21:20/21:45 - 22:55 BRS for Sunday flights.

easyJet, on the other hand, will operate flights from Prague to Bristol four times a week in the summer schedule of 2024 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), with the exception of the summer holiday period when flights will be reduced to three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday).

Following an unsuccessful attempt to introduce a regular route to Cairo, Smartwings is now trying to establish a regular route to Athens. The carrier will face strong competition from Aegean Airlines, which plans to operate daily flights between Prague and the Greek capital. The flight schedule of the Czech carrier is diverse. Flights will depart every Thursday and Sunday. From June to September, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday flights will also be added. In October, the plan is to operate three flights a week (every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday).
