The military version of the Boeing Co. aerial-refueling tanker KC-46A flew for the first time Friday. The first KC-46A, which is derived from the Boeing 767, took off from Paine Field at 1:24 p.m. and landed almost exactly four hours later at Boeing Field in Seattle. Before the end of the year, the company expects the KC-46 will begin conducting aerial refueling flights with a number of Air Force jets. You'll see in one of the pictures that an F-16 from Edwards AFB is flying alongside as the KC-46 is taking off.

Přiznám se, že tuto informaci moc nechápu. Na serveru Airliners jsem našel dvě fotky z přistání KC-46A po prvním úspěšném letu v prosinci 2014, a jednu fotku startujícího KC-46A z 8.8.2015. Takže ten první let 25. září 2015 asi nebude zas až tak první.
