Airport Brno announced today finishing negotiations with BMI regional on new connection to Munich. Flights from Brno to second largest Luftahnsa hub will be operated by british BMI Regional. The service start is scheduled this year (2015) using Embraer 145. Lufthansa will put their code to this connection, so it creates better connection from Moravia region to Lufthansa network (today's best current practice is few hours traveling to Prague or Vienna). Brno airport is also trying to get other new connections namely Roma, Milano, Paris, Barcelona and new location in UK. Brno was connected to Munich in year 2005-2007, service was provided by Cirrus Airlines.
