A British Airways Boeing 777-200, registration G-YMMA performing flight BA-118 from Bangalore (India) to London Heathrow (UK), was enroute at FL360 about 50 miles east of Budapest (Hungary) when the crew descended the aircraft to FL240 due to a problem with the right hand engine (Trent 895). The aircraft continued through Slovakia into Czechia. South of Prague the crew shut the engine down due to the loss of pressure of engine oil. The crew requested emergency services assistance by for the arrival and decided to divert to Munich (Germany), where the aircraft landed safely on runway 08R about 75 minutes after leaving FL360. A replacement Boeing 767-300 registration G-BNWZ was sent to Munich and reached London with a delay of about 9 hours.
