German carrier Eurowings will introduce a new direct route from Prague to Tallinn starting March 31, 2024. It will operate 3 times a week (every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday), enjoying a monopoly on the route. Both cities have been without a direct connection for many years.
This marks the third new destination for Eurowings from Prague in the summer schedule of 2024. On the same day, they will also launch a route to Nice, France. Then, starting Monday, April 1, they will begin flights to Valencia, Spain. Flight EW4284/5 will operate twice a week (every Monday and Friday). Eurowings will compete with Smartwings on both routes. Additionally, easyJet will begin flights to Nice from October.
